Fall Harvest Offering

There is a great harvest ready for us in the fall, and we need your support to reap the produce!  We are asking everyone who regularly attends PromiseLand to give a financial offering over and above your regular offering to accomplish the task ahead of us.

Of course, all offerings are completely confidential and tax deductible.
 
Your financial seed will allow a tremendous harvest for these crucial ministry areas.
  • Monthly Budget - We need a monthly boost to make our budget for the remaining of the year.  Our monthly expenses are approximately $47,000 per month.  In order to comfortably live within our budget, we need an additional $5000 per month.  We anticipate this problem being eliminated when the summer is over and most of our congregation returns from summer break.
  • Parking Lot Expansion - We simply need more parking spots.  Our growth has been hindered because the parking lot is so cramped on the weekends.  We will eliminate this problem with an expanded parking lot to the east-side of the current parking area.  It will be a crushed granite lot on the other side of the recreation area to the south east of our building.  We estimate this project costing:  $5000
  • John Ragsdale is a tremendous minister and we are always privileged to have him minister in our congregation.  Hundreds of people come to know Jesus Christ better when he sings and speaks in San Marcos.   It costs an extensive amount to have someone travel in and work with us for an entire weekend.  When he comes to San Marcos, we cover his travel, accommodations, and food.  We will also take up an offering to bless him.  Usually, all of these amount to approx: $2000.
  • Billboard Campaign In the 7 year history of our church, billboards have been the single best investment for our advertising campaign.  It is extremely effective in spreading the word for our church and it compliments our "word-of-mouth" advertising.  A three month campaign averages  $2500.
  • Kids/Adult Christmas Play - Our Christmas play two years ago was a huge success.  It brought tons of guests into the church and it was a great relationship builder for our adults and kids.  We anticipate some expense for props, scripts, advertising, etc at about $1000.
  • Mexico Outreach Our partners in ministry in Monterrey Mexico have suffered severe attacks from the enemy and need work done to their van fleet.  They also have been sued by a former employee.  They are in need of financial assistance from us!   We would love to send a $2000 gift to them.
  • Nigeria Church Roof  Our sister church in Lagos, Nigeria is in desperate need to complete the roof on their church.  When it rains, they are unable to have church services in their facility.  The cost to complete the roof is $3000.
  • Benevolence Fund Our benevolence fund is the way we provide rent, food, and utility assistance to those in the local area that have need.  Currently, this fund has run out.  We anticipate $1600 being enough to supply the need.
  • Master Plan We have begun our Master Planning process for our 20 acre property. If you haven't seen the latest results, click here.  The next phase of planning will include hiring civil engineers to begin our site plan.  This will cost $7500
