International Missions

Our international mission is: Transformation. We want to participate in the transformation of our world in two ways: spiritual and physical.  First, we want to help communities naturally with fresh water and education.  Second, we want to help local pastors and churches.  We believe that if we first help with the natural needs, then the spiritual transformation will follow more effectively.

Every year PromiseLand church hosts mission trips. In Mexico, we partner with Arbol de Vida Church in Leon, Guanajuato, a major metropolis where we facilitate outreach events to local neighborhoods, drug rehab centers, and hospitals. We help plant churches as well as meet physical needs at the Arbol de Vida campuses. We are currently partnering with Arbol de Vida to build an orphanage on the outskirts of Leon and an area called Ladrigellas, the “brickmaker” region.

In Peru, we partner with WorldHelp (our global partner) and Catch the Vision (locally) in Iquitos, Amazonia. Catch the Vision is a network of over 50 churches planted in remote villages along the Nanay River, part of the greater Amazon River system. Our ministry to Peru began in 2023 with our first visit to the village of Libertad, where we hosted men’s and women’s discipleship gatherings, children’s ministry programs, and door-to-door outreach. We returned to Peru in 2024 to build a fresh water-well system that provides drinking water to the village of San Juan de Yuto. We also delivered personal hygiene supplies and ministered in both San Juan de Yuto and in a neighboring village named Porvenir. We then returned to Libertad to deliver first aid and essential medical supplies to a small medical clinic there that serves multiple villages along the river banks. In these villages we are working to provide the local pastors with development, guidance, and fresh ideas while also ministering to the adult community and children, delivering the Hope of the Gospel Jesus Christ to the most remote parts of the Amazon Jungle.
